19) Sin creates a debt that we cannot pay; sin is like a chain around our necks.
20) No matter how hard we try, we cannot break free from this chain without God’s help.
21) We need God’s gift of salvation. The Bible says this gift is “free” (Rom. 6:23).
22) God’s gift is free to those who are “in Christ.”
23) The Bible says “baptism” puts us into Christ (Gal. 3:27) & thus allows us to have forgiveness of sins.
