ii) Hired servants (Ex. 12:45) were also not allowed to partake of the Passover.
iii) All of the Hebrew people, however, were to share in the Passover meal (Ex. 12:47).
4) The Passover was a great feast, but God did not intend for great celebration to be permanent.
5) 1 Cor. 5:7 – Paul said “Christ is our Passover.”
6) Jesus is described as “the Lamb of God” in Jn. 1:29.
7) The Lamb of God (Jesus Christ) has His own Supper.
8) 1 Cor. 11:20.

i) There is the “Lord’s Supper” in 1 Cor. 11:20.
ii) In the book of Revelation (1:10) we read about the “Lord’s Day.”
10) Should the Lord’s Supper be observed on the “Lord’s Day” or should it be observed on some other day?
Mk. 16:9 says the Lord arose from the dead “early” on the “first day of the week” (Sunday).
11) According to Jn. 20:19, it was on the “first day of the week” (Sunday) that Jesus met with His disciples.
12) Then, a few verses later, we are told “eight days later” (verse 26), Jesus met with His disciples again.
13) This meeting also took place on “the first day of the week” (Sunday).
