6)    The “wandering in the wilderness” pointed forward to how Christians would “wander” in their world.
7)    1 Pet. 2:11 says Christians are “strangers and sojourners” – this world is like the Old Testament wilderness.
8)    God’s people were promised a physical inheritance and God said this could be lost.
9)    Peter said Christians have access to a spiritual inheritance which “fades not away” (1 Pet. 1:4).
10)    Eph. 3:10 (“church) + Eph. 3:11 (“eternal purpose”).

BEFORE THE WORLD WAS CREATED GOD HAD A PLAN MAPPED OUT FOR THE ORGANIZATION WE KNOW AS THE CHURCH. TO HELP PEOPLE BE READY FOR AN UNDERSTAND THIS PLAN, GOD RAISED UP THE NATION WE KNOW AS ISRAEL.

27)    The New Testament system which is found in the church is the “perfect law of liberty” (Jas. 1:25).
28)    Heb. 9:9 says people did not have a clean conscience under the Old Testament law.
29)    Under the Old Testament law sins were “remembered” (Heb. 10:1-4).  Changed!  Heb. 10:17.
